Purchase, New York, 28 February 2013, INTERalliance recognizes Atos in North America for community leadership as a founding sponsor
Atos has been awarded a Founding Sponsor Award by the INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati in recognition of its sponsorship, vision, and support to the Greater Cincinnati community (in North America) by supporting and underwriting the establishment and ongoing success of this not-for-profit corporation. Since 2005, Atos has provided in-kind support in the form of executive-on-loan services of Doug Arthur as executive director and central office facilities, as well as direct program support of the INTERalliance and its career camps, internships, and conferences. INTERalliance recognized Atos at TechOlympics Expo 2013 for eight years of community service as a founding sponsor, along with Procter & Gamble and the University of Cincinnati.
This Founding Sponsor Award was presented to Cindi Kornegay, Atos Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, North America Managed Services, by Jim Scott, CIO of KnowledgeWorks and board chairman of the INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati. The award was presented to Ms. Kornegay after her keynote address to more than 500 students from 42 regional high schools at TechOlympics Expo 2013, the annual three-day career conference at the Millennium Hotel in downtown Cincinnati hosted by the INTERalliance and sponsored by Kroger, Procter & Gamble, the Cincinnati CIO Roundtable, and 30 other companies in addition to Atos North America.
Mr. Scott was eager to share with a crowd of nearly 800 students, volunteers and sponsors the gratitude of the Board of Directors of INTERalliance that includes the CIOs and senior directors from Kroger, P&G, Fifth Third Bank, GE Aviation, Great American Insurance, Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions, and KnowledgeWorks. Said Scott, “The eight years of contributions by Atos, not only of Doug’s time, but of their facilities, a place for the Board of Directors to meet, and active participation hiring interns and sponsoring career camps and conferences, have made the INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati possible. We are all very grateful to Atos for this commitment.”
Said Cindi Kornegay, “We are very proud of the contribution the INTERalliance has made to the Cincinnati community, and we at Atos are honored to be a part of this important work that improves the quality of life for our company and our community.”
